Where are you from? And how did you end up here?
I’m from a neighborhood called East Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York, & I’m here as an undergraduate at the University of Chicago.

How long have you been with Protein Bar?
A couple of months or so.

Biggest Passions?
I write a bit of poetry & I’m here studying English & Philosophy so I spend most of my time reading creative & philosophical literature.

Extremes. Here in Chicago we are well aware of them. One day you leave for work and it feels like summer and by leaving home fore work winter has arrived. Meter prices jump from reasonable to wallet gouging. The list can go on and on. We deal with them every day in small ways but they seem like a tremendous weight or the swings make us feel like we’re going

Something amazing is in the works in the West Loop. Due to open in late August, Protein Bar and Fitness Formula Club are working hard on a NEW amazing fitness center. This 52,000 square ft fitness center includes an indoor and outdoor pool, hot yoga, pilates AND spin studios—but most importantly it will house our 4th Protein Bar location! Washington & Wells Preview >

Chicago Loop-ers, are you ready for more Protein Bar? In just about 1 month we’ll be setting up shop at 221 W. Washington St. (right off of the Washington/Wells Brown Line stop). What makes this location so special?

Kind of a BIG deal-–This will be our largest Protein Bar yet. We’ll have expanded seating areas perfect for morning meetings, lunch breaks, AND post-work snacks.

I’m actually an import from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. My family moved to the States when I was 5. After living in Houston, Cincinnati, Omaha, and spending the majority of my life in the small town of Denison, Iowa,  I am now proud to call Chicago home.
